I have worked with parents of young children for ten years and find it incredibly rewarding. I plan to continue to work with families for the foreseeable future.

I have been working with children and families for 24 years. I began my career as an Early Childhood educator, teaching preschool, and caring for children aged 3-12 in daycare and school-aged care programs. My interests grew to learning more about children with additional support needs and that is how I am here today. I started as a support worker, providing direct support to children guided by family priorities and their Supported Child Development (SCD) Consultant who collaborated with the child and family’s team. My ambitions continued to grow. I decided to return to school, while raising 3 little ones and working full time, to become a consultant myself. I have now been in the role of SCD Consultant for 7 years and that is where I learned about the Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Program. I first took the program as a parent and it was life-changing. When the opportunity came up to learn to facilitate, I jumped at the chance. Our SCD Program is now able to offer COSP to the families we serve in the community, a few time each year. I not only apply COSP in my personal life, but in my work with families and Early Childhood Educators as I consult, even if they are not familiar with the program, it can help reframe the adult’s perspective, without shame or blame, and help them to BE for the child what they need in any given moment. I would love to extend my practice when possible. I am currently available virtually weeknights and weekend evenings.

As a Registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Facilitator and Certified Forest and Nature School Practitioner, I am deeply committed to supporting the well-being of children and families through attachment-based, trauma-informed, and inclusive practices. Drawing on over twelve years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Community Support, I offer COSP programs that are compassionate, reflective, interactive, and culturally responsive. My facilitation style emphasizes building secure relationships and enhancing caregiver confidence, while keeping the content accessible—not heavy with theory, but rich with practical advice and proven tools that caregivers can use in everyday situations.

I specialize in working with caregivers, fathers, young parents, single parents, foster parents, and childcare providers, creating safe and non-judgmental spaces where participants can explore their parenting journeys, strengthen emotional connections with children, and apply the learned parenting techniques daily with ease and confidence. My approach integrates evidence-based theory with real-life application, helping participants better understand children’s emotional needs and behaviour through the lens of secure attachment.

Informed by my background in child development, mental health, and intercultural practice—including completion of the Immigrant and Refugee Mental Health Course—I am especially attuned to the unique experiences of families navigating transitions, adversity, or systemic barriers.

I offer group sessions during regular business hours as well as evenings and weekends, both in-person and online, to ensure flexibility and accessibility. My goal is to empower adults and young adults in caregiving roles to feel more connected, capable, and confident in supporting children’s emotional and relational growth.
