NEW PROGRAM STARTING OCTOBER 5, 2024.

The Circle of Security Parenting® Program™ has been called “life changing” by parents who have attended in the past. This program educates parents on *why* their child behaves and feels in certain ways as well as helping them understand *what* they can do to increase the happy and decrease the stress in their parenting relationships. Anita always looks forward to providing COSP telehealth groups with parents, especially those whose children have a history of trauma/domestic violence and/or sensory and neurodivergence related difficulties.

WHO: Parents of children from conception to the emotional developmental age of 6 years.
WHEN: Saturdays from 10am-12pm Pacific Time
WHERE: Online via Microsoft Teams
COST: $480 billed after first session; some insurances may cover the CPT Code 90853 (you must check with your insurance).

Requirements:
– No Children! This is a space for parents to learn, grow, and be human. You deserve for someone else to care for your children during this time.
– Consistent attendance. Each week’s materials build upon the last, so missing sessions will disrupt your learning. Show up even if you’re sick.
– Be prepared to end up having more connection and loving moments with your family and kids after we’re done!

Much of my employment background has been with First Nations communities, and my passion for Indigenous culture has led me to collaborate with several local Indigenous Child and Family Services agencies to facilitate COSP groups for new foster parents accepting kinship placements. I believe that an understanding of Attachment is the most powerful tool parents and caregivers can hold, and COSP is the gold standard. After gaining a couple years of experience facilitating groups both virtually and in person, I went deeper into COSP so that I am able to gear my groups towards teachers and ECE’s in the classroom, as well as to high risk populations and a foster care specific environment.
